During this workshop we’ll be looking at two simple methods to transform your drawings into a design that is ready to expose, using digital softwares Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. We will also look at colour separation and how to create a simple, multiple-colour print from your intricate designs.
We will be working from a photograph or a scanned copy of your drawings. You can use drawings from the previous weeks or, if you’ve not joined us before, any designs you have lying around. You can also use a photograph but keep in mind that the results may not be as crisp. This workshop is open to all abilities – no previous Photoshop or Illustrator experience is required.
This class is a great start to understanding how digitalising your images can help you to develop anything into a screen print, which you can print with us in the future.
What you’ll need:
A camera (phone camera is good too)
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
An original design
