Wellbeing Textile
Screen Printing Club
A weekly art club from Print Clan CIC
Supported by the Wellbeing for Longer in Glasgow Fund & Govanhill Baths Community Trust
About the Club
Come and learn the art of textile screen
printing and print your own projects with the
help of Print Clan. The Club is a weekly drop-
in meaning you can come for a one off taster
or for as many weeks as you want! Each week
we’ll explore a creative theme, but you can
also bring along your own ideas which our
expert printers will help you achieve.
Print Clan will provide all the materials,
including paper, pens, inks, screens, squeegees
and fabrics. This is the same high quality
industry standard equipment that our artist
members print with in our studio.
Who can attend?
The Club is open to residents of Glasgow aged
16+ who are either experiencing financial
hardship, already attend a third sector social
service organisation or have marginalised
identities. For Print Clan, ‘marginalised’ means
non-power holding identities in terms of age,
physical and mental ability, race, ethnicity,
gender spectrum, religion, home status,
sexual orientation, and family status. You are
welcome to attend with a support worker.
Where is the Club?
The Club will take place every Thursday from
10am to 1pm at The Deep End in Govanhill.
The Deep End is a welcoming and accessible
venue on 21 Nithsdale Street, close to both
Queen’s Park and Pollokshields West train
stations. Print Clan will be providing light
refreshments but you are welcome to bring
extra snacks or food.
How do I sign-up?
You need to sign up before each session so we
know who is coming. You can register interest
with us by emailing wellbeing@printclan.co.uk
or signing up via the following link:
Each session is limited to 8 people, and you
can book onto as many or as little as you
like.
Sessions are funded thanks to support from the Wellbeing for Longer in Glasgow Fund from Impact Funding, but there is an option for a ‘Pay What You Can’ donation. Any donations will be reinvested into our Wellbeing Programme to continue providing screen printing and arts access to the local community.
