What will happen during the workshop?
During this weekend workshop you will learn the complete process of t-shirt printing. You will be guided through how to best create and set up a design for print, shown how to expose a screen and print your designs using our t-shirt carousel. You will have the opportunity to use different binders to produce different print effects, and also shown how to accurately print a design with two colours or layers.
I have never done screen printing before, can I come?
Of course - the workshop is suitable for all skills levels. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
What will I make?
Day 1 (session runs from 2pm - 5pm)
You are encouraged to bring drawings, sketches or images which will prompt a discussion about the appropriateness of image and how best to create a design for print. You will be shown how to correctly set up your artwork using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, and guided through the process of coating a screen.
