Join Arianna for the second in our series of online Zoom workshops to help see you through lockdown!
During this self portrait workshop we will talk you through a series of easy and fun drawing exercises, open for all ages and abilities - no drawing skills are required.
Each exercise is timed and designed to challenge your concept of what you consider to be a beautiful drawing. The subject matter will encourage you to look at yourself in the mirror and explore different parts of your face. By taking a step out of your own body you will explore the shape of your eyes, nose and mouth as if they didn’t belong to you, and produce surprising and joyful results to make you smile.
This workshop is designed for the whole family and you will end up with a collection of different drawings, which you can develop for print in future online workshops.
No fancy materials are required and you can use things you will have lying around the house. You will need:
20 sheets of paper - this could be anything from old photocopies, discarded envelopes, cardboard boxes, to used notebooks - anything you can scribble on will work!
Mark making materials such as biro pens, pencils & crayons, felt tips, watercolour paints; or get creative with old lipsticks, eyeliners & nail polish, watercolour paints. Anything you can scribble with will work!
